Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Total Knock Out Influenster VoxBox!

Hi guys! I’m super excited to share with you guys today the Influenster VoxBox I received completely free to try and review!

The products they sent me this time was the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Total Knock Out!!!

ImageHonestly, this is one of the best nail polish products I’ve ever used. The brush is bigger than normal nail polishes and has flat bristles which make application of the product super easy! Not only does the product dry fast, but it also dries super shiny – I love that about these polishes.

Another thing I absolutely love about these polishes are the wide variety of colors it comes in! The colors range from vibrant to beautiful deep colors – there’s literally a color for everyone.

ipsy – a catch up post!

Happy New Year!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged and I really want to get back into the blogging game!

I’ve been meaning to share with you my monthly ipsy hauls since I’ve been a subscriber but I’ve just been so busy – and since I’m anticipating my January bag, I’ve decided to share the last few bags I’ve received as a little pre-game!

Image

MICA Cosmetics loose shadow in bronze, Chella brow pencil, Pixi mascara, Noya lip balm, and my personal favorite of the month, the Michael Todd Charcoal Jojoba Scrub. I love love love this and sometimes I wish it weren’t an exfoliator so I could use it every single day!
ImageThis is the November bag! I loved the bag it came in, definitely Glam worthy. Pixi Blush/bronzer, em cosmetics Volume mascara, bh Cosmetic’s Galaxy Chic baked shadow, Be a Bombshell lip crayon, and Nailtini’s champagne colored polish that look so elegant and gorgeous when applied. Not pictured is the Starlooks silver eyeliner pencil that I put to perfect use during the holiday season. Very very content with this bag!

I got too excited about my December bag and forgot to take pictures before I used all the products so unfortunately I can’t share that with you guys. But I’ll definitely contain my excitement more for the next coming months. :3

Can’t wait for this month’s January ipsy Glam Bag! I hope the products will help me kickstart the new year with some fun new products!

If you’d like to use my referral link to be a part of the monthly ipsy fun, you can do so here! Thank you in advance ❤

Happy New Year!

Broadway Nails New ImPRESS Manicure!

Let me first say that these are so so so convenient to use! They come in a bunch of different colors and they have the perfect sizes for everyone! I’m seriously in love with this glittery leopard print right now and I’m really glad as an Influenster, that I was able to receive these to try for FREE!

They’re supposed to last at least a week long, but mine lasted much longer than that so yay props to them!

If you’re looking for where to buy them, you can find them on the shelves at Walmart! Or on http://www.Walmart.com.Image

(This was right before I peeled them and put them on!)

So overall, easy, quick, convenient, simple, chic, stylish, and fun to use! I’d definitely recommend!

A College Thanksgiving!

I’ve been so busy lately and I’ve had this post in queue for a week now! So I figured I’d just share it as is. 🙂 Enjoy! Let’s rewind to about 1 week ago, shall we!

I can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving again! Although Thanksgiving isn’t my very favorite holiday, it’s still really special to me because it’s what really kicks off the holiday season in my family.  Thanksgiving in my family means KOST 103.5’s Month Long of Christmas Songs, ham, duck, rice, and other foods us Asians like to eat for festive holidays. But it also usually means lots and lots of time to bond with the family, play boardgames, and to enjoy each others’ company.

Thanksgiving

This year, however, my parents spent Thanksgiving in Hong Kong where my dad’s side of the family all live at. I was so bummed at first that I couldn’t go with my parents there because I couldn’t miss school, but I was still able to spend my Thanksgiving with family…my college one! My closest college friends (which are friends I went to high school with + my amazing roommate) planned a big Thanksgiving potluck with 15 of our closest friends. We all brought our favorite Thanksgiving dish and the turn out was pretty great! (We had sooo many leftovers.) And even though the turkey came out half cooked (cooked by the guys…) and everything ran behind schedule, we still all had a very fun time just enjoying each others’ company.

Smore Cupcakes

My roommate made these amazing S’more Cupcakes. Toasted marshmallows, graham cracker crusts, just simply delicious!

Thanksgiving StuffingWhat’s Thanksgiving without stuffing?

Thanksgiving Mashed PotatoesAnd an overload of mashed potatoes…

Thanksgiving Gravy

Thanksgiving HamAnd the guys’ Hawaiian ham….

Thanksgiving Golden RetrieverAnd…the cutest dog ever of course!!

ThanksgivingAnd then we started taking pictures on the staircase…we don’t know why but we liked how they came out!

ThanksgivingAnd then Arya joined us…tehehe!

I hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgivings! I sure did. 🙂 Don’t forget to follow me on twitter & pinterest for more updates from my posts! 🙂 How did you guys spend your Thanksgiving!

First of all, the biggest thank you to the Veterans of our country for your service and devotion to our country~

This weekend’s been such a great one! I was able to spend quality with with my best friend, (and boyfriend!) David! And to top everything off, there’s still 1 more day to this great 3-day weekend. We worked on some assignments due for our classes this week, ate a yummy gourmet Taiwanese burger, and watched Wreck it Ralph! Oh my goooodnesss, Wreck it Ralph was suuuuch a great movie! I’d definitely take a nice break during the week to catch the film if you haven’t already done so!

Mehehe, I love this little girl! She’s definitely my favorite!

We also took a night time stroll back to our empty high school where we admired all the changes made since our graduation dates. So nostalgic<3 And lastly, since I don’t really anything else to share about, here’s a picture of Dinner Du Jour~

Dinner

Mixed Greens with Avocado in a Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing topped with Crumbled Bleu Cheese and a cup of my favorite Naked Juice — Green Machine!

Yum!

Other news!!

Some of you can tell, I’m not the most advanced blogger out here. I’m constantly browsing other people’s blogs during my free time to get some blogging inspiration for ways to improve my own! So after following many many other bloggers via Bloglovin, I’ve finally claimed my blog so I can be followed back! 🙂 I’ve been feeling much more connected to some of the few blogs I’m constantly drawing encouragement and inspiration from since I won one of the Prize Packs from Yours Truly’s humongous giveaway!

First off, shout out to the beautiful Dalayna from dalaynadillon.blogspot.com! I love going to her blog when I’m in need of a mid-week-pick-me-up.  She’s also hosting a big Sponsor Showcase & Giveaway so be sure to check that out!

I’m also a November sponsor for Melissa’s blog, Dreams and Colour! She’s perhaps one of my favorite Canadian bloggers, so be sure to show her some love and take a look at her blog!

I’m also a November sponsor for Amanda’s blog Ninth Street Notions and Emerald’s at Sweet Tart Beauty where you’ll find lots of DIY Crafts ideas and beauty, fashion, and photography inspiration!

So here’s to another improvement to my blog! Cheers~ and follow me on Bloglovin!

Current Obsession: Everlane’s Snap Backpack

Hello everyone!

So lately I’ve been pretty obsessed with backpacks! As we welcome in the Fall season..(or try to…California, can you not be 90° in November?) I was looking for the perfect fashionable, yet simple and high quality, yet sturdy backpack. I was sure everything I wanted would be so hard to find in a single backpack, but after lots and lots of searching through many many stores, I finally remembered and dug up an email from about a year ago to find the perfect canvas backpack from Everlane! It’s seriously everything I wanted in a backpack, and best of all, it was everything it promised! High quality, trendy–just perfect!

Everlane Backpack

Perfect backpack for wearing on campus for the Fall Quarter!

Everlane is basically a new online retailer dedicated to providing designer quality clothing and accessory pieces straight to the customer, eliminating the crazy mark-up middlemen usually apply to all the designer goods you love to purchase from them at designer retail stores.

This was definitely $65 well spent. 🙂 In mid-October, they added two new colors for these backpacks. They have a Burgundy, and a Military Green now! They’ve also recently added so many more things, including their Cashmere Collection, Silk Collection, and Scarf Collection!! I’m currently saving up for one of their gorgeous scarves that are absolutely perfect for the Fall and Winter seasons. You can help me get closer to being able to afford one of their scarves if you sign up using my referral link: https://www.everlane.com/n/w9vv67 ! 🙂 Thanks so much in advance!
