For those of you who saw my post earlier today, you’ll know that I finally got my iPhone 5 preorder on September 21, 2012! This post is the follow up to my previous post — unboxing, features, and looks! I’m not really a tech-y but I’ll try my best to share the knowledge I know!
Super sleek, light-weight, and 4 inches of multi-touch!
Apple box it came in.
Larger screen, easier to hold, super light! Super perfect.
Compared to my 13inch Macbook Pro.
As far as specs, the new iPhone is under IOS6 which includes Apple Maps, and 8 megapixel iSight camera, Panorama shooting (this is so amazing!!) There’s now an HD video camera shooting for super detailed video recording, and of course, lots and lots of Siri! 🙂 I’ll continue to update more about my iPhone as I discover the features. Overall, supppperrr excited to be among the firsts to get this phone! 🙂
What phone do you have? Let me know what you love about it in the comments below! And have a wonderful week!
On Friday night, an un-anticipated doorbell rang just as my mom and I was about to eat dinner. A UPS deliverer working an evening shift dropped off a plain mysterious package off to us and wheeled away as my mom and I were anxious to see what was in it! My mom had pre-ordered the iPhone 5 the day it was open for pre-orders, but for the past week, AT&T online tracking + customer service had said that ours hadn’t shipped out yet/would be shipped out on the 21st. Disappointed, my mom and I were pretty sad that we had to wait another 2-3 weeks for it to be delivered to us. So when this package arrived, our excitement was uncontrollable!
My family of me, my mom, and my dad all thought it was time for us to upgrade to smart phones! I had been using my data-less Blackberry for the past two years and I’ve been waiting for forever for the iPhone5 to come out!
Getting the iPhone5 on the release date in stores was pretty amazing. No standing in lines…no fighting crowds for an unguaranteed iPhone was pretty great!
So far, I’m seriously lovin’ my new phone! I thought the screen was going to be larger, but this new screen, just stretched compared to the iPhone 4s, is much easier to hold in your hand. It’s also extremely light! I was weighing it against my Apple iTouch 3rd generation, and it was surprisingly a little less heavy!
Overall, I’m really really excited! I’ll post other pictures of my phone as soon as I find the time! I’ve been so busy, moving back tino my apartment for the coming school year and just with wrapping up my internship. I already have soooo many things in my queue of things to post about so I’m really looking forward to sharing that with you! Have a wonderful weekend and keep checking back here for more exciting posts!
Lemme know your thoughts on the new iPhone5! Are you sticking with your iPhone 4s, or are you upgrading? 🙂
So sorry I’ve basically disappeared from my blog for these past two weeks. At the beginning of the month, my boyfriend and I finally liquidated all the money we’ve been saving up for the past two and a half years and went on our first mini vacation to New York! There’s sosososo many things I did and I absolutely cannot wait to share it with all of you. We did so so so much eating and hit so many amazing famous food spots, both gourmet and street-food. Yum!
I’ve been working on my Shutterfly photo book to re-live all my memories through my photos because there’s a special promo code going on now until 9/12/12 for $29.99 off your Shutterfly photo book! It’s a great great deal and I’ve been rushing to finish this photo project. I’ll definitely review the whole process when I’m done and have received it and for now I can only post a quick preview of my trip. I promise to post and review more of everything I did there as soon as I’m done with the photo book!
These were some of the highlights of my trip (for now). Please enjoy! ~
So stay tuned for a series of New York posts! 🙂
